What is free float quad rail hand guard?
Free floating hand guards mount to the receiver and do not contact the barrel at all. You can put pressure on the free floating hand guards in different amounts and in different places and not effect the harmonics of the barrel at all. Supposed to make it shoot to the same place all of the time. The normal hand guard is supported by the Delta ring an a plate on the back side of the front sight.
